Designing my own wedding invitation suite became the inspiration behind Heron & Ivy. Every piece was thoughtfully created to reflect the joyful, garden-inspired celebration we envisioned while showcasing my love for timeless typography, custom watercolor artwork, and meaningful details. From the first save-the-date to the final day-of stationery, the goal was to create a cohesive experience that felt elegant, welcoming, and unmistakably personal.
Guests were introduced to the celebration with a save-the-date featuring a custom hand-painted watercolor crest. The invitation suite paired sky blue, spring green, and bright pink raised ink printing with a custom watercolor pattern carried throughout the suite on a vellum belly band and coordinating envelope liners. Layered textures, thoughtful color, and fine printing techniques worked together to create a first impression that reflected the warmth and excitement of the wedding day.
The stationery extended beyond the invitation suite to include coordinating ceremony programs, signage, cups, can coolers, and napkins, ensuring every paper detail felt connected and intentional from the moment guests opened their mailbox to the final moments of the celebration.
